Family and Early Childhood Anglophone East Inc.

Family and Early Childhood Anglophone East Inc. is a family-centered early intervention program in the Anglophone East School District region. They offer a variety of family support services for parents who have concerns in relation to their children aged 0 to 8. Their programs are voluntary, confidential and individualized, with an emphasis on the strengths and abilities of each child and family. Programs include in-home visits, attachment therapy, parenting groups, parent and child interactive “Play and Learn” groups, and newborn observation (NBO) sessions.

In addition, Family and Early Childhood Anglophone East completes the EYE-DA screening for children entering school within the Anglophone East School district each year. As a follow-up for children who experience some challenges with the EYE-DA, play-based Active Learning Groups are offered to help parents enhance their child’s developmental skills.

Their goals are to promote healthy childhood growth and development, and to promote positive parent-child interaction and family wellness. They strive to help parents foster their child’s ability to learn and to assist individuals in their role as parents and as advocates for their children.
